Signpost Forest; Watson Lake, Yukon Canada

This has to be one of the most unique spots that I’ve seen. You can’t miss it on the Alaska Hwy. It’s at Milepost 613 in Watson Lake.  It’s a huge collection of license plates. They say it was started by a GI who was homesick. Today, it’s just a neat place to stop for awhile.

Seems like I ought to drive to Alaska. It looks like a long way, though. And google insists on telling me how far it is in KM, eh.
